Big week in the blogosphere (isn’t that an awful word?!). First, my warm congratulations to wonderful gal Sister Smiffter. Though the congrats should really go to her husband, I’m so happy for the whole family that her husband’s band received the Entertainer of the Year award from the International Bluegrass Music Association! That’s just so wonderful I could pop!
Next, congratulations to our own site, This is Smyrna, and all authors who were featured in today’s Daily News Journal. It amazes me that Mealand Ragland Hudgins has the talent to put together a nice story from such a rag-tag group of people! We do take great pleasure in writing for our sites. We know we aren’t the perfect editors, etc. but do this because we love it. And we’re grateful that so many people put up with us!
Also, our very own Ginger has had a brush with famous! Not only did she meet the Guv, he visited her blog!
Finally, my own big announcement. I’ve published my first book. I didn’t go the traditional publishing route because it’s not a traditional book. Rather, it’s a technical manual for real estate agents wanting to set up a blog. Others could also use it, but you might want to skip the part about putting the Fair Housing logo, etc. on your site!
So hooray for everyone!
