As I drove my youngest to a class last night, we cruised by Taco Bell. IT’S OPEN! Christie commented to me that the line wasn’t very long, either!! Let’s go show some love to LaVergne’s restaurants … Taco Bell, Dominos, and Wilstans. And don’t forget about the Lazy Pig! I’d really like for the retail we do have to stay open and they can only do so with community support.
I’m wondering… would any of our blog readers be interested in meeting at one of the local restaurants for a meet and greet?

lets do the border today ig you would like…I need me some taco’s and such
I have heard mixed emotions on Willstan’s, but the business seems to be booming and it smells good.
I did notice that next to Domino’s we have ANOTHER tobacco outlet & nail place..WooHoo…
I have sold a few folks on the Lazy Pig. Dang good stuff!!!
the lazy pig is great. andy is such a nice person and he has donated food several times for a non-profit organization called Box 100 here in LaVergne.
We have nearly 30,000 people in this cityh and we’re excited about a taco stand? Meanwhile all the new developement goes to Smyrna and Starwood.
It’s a sad reality, MichaelinLV. Sad but true. Pitiful. Pathetic. I once lived in another city with about 30,000… we had lots of stores – even had our own theater called The Flick. The lettering on the outside of the theater was funky, so “Flick” often looked like another word. Used to crack my teenage heart up.
you can buy a used car, tires, tacos, big macs, and books in lavergne but you cant get them all in one place. what a shame!!!
Where can you buy books? Am I missing a bookstore somewhere?!?!
Books would be cool.
Don’t forget the auto parts, pizza and pretty nails.
Maybe the Library’s annual book sale??
I get so mad when channel 3 says ‘make sure you shop and keep your tax dollars in La Vergne!’
Well, considering that I have to go to Smyrna for just about EVERYTHING, it’s hard to keep my tax dollars in LV. I do, however, buy all my auto parts in La Vergne
kATHY i WAS TRYING TO BE ALITTLE FUNNY…BOOKS=WALDON OR BORDERS.
We do need alot more retail in Lavergne. I do see the BBQ place Strouds being built this week across from the McD’s on Waldren rd. I would say tear down the Driftwood Inn and City hall and put in a wal-mart and a new K-mart…City hall can be moved to Lake FOrrest so they can keep an eye on things over since they seem to not care that much about other parts of the great city. LFE is still growing and how much more will it grow????
WORD!!!!
Fun facts: There are 2 WalMart Stores that are less than 5 miles of 37086. There are 8 WalMart stores that are less than 15 miles of 37086.
And we need to build yet another WalMart here…why?
I was going to type some smart remark, but, my grandma always said “If you aint got nothing nice to say, come sit next to me.” I’m not feeling nice tonight, so I won’t talk about wal fart. I mean wal mart.
