I will be gone next week on a long-awaited, much-needed vacation. The other writers here are plenty intelligent, articulate, and prolific, so their witty banter, candor, and insights about the goings-on in LaV will be a hoot, I’m sure.
In the event that you, too, are searching for something to do, these ideas I recently sent to my cirlce of friends may be helpful! Enjoy and see you next week!

We have ridden horses at Juro Stables quite a bit & love going back there as much as we can! All of the trail guides are volunteers, so their only income there is tips. Our favorite guide is Marcia.
The Hermitage is also a great place to take kids! My daughter loved “Pol” on her headset, she listened to every entry at least twice, most of them 3 times!
I’m heading to the pumpkin patch at Walden Farm this week. I heard it’s lots of fun for young children.
