Visit Green LaVergne at Old Timer’s Day

As you’re probably aware, Old Timer’s Day is this Saturday, September 20, 2008. And our friendly and “green” thinking Alderman, Senna Mosley, has offered to share her booth with Green La Vergne. So stop on by, and say hello, and if you sign up to be contacted to possibly help us with one of our future clean up efforts, your name will be placed in a drawing for two $25.00 Olive Garden gift certificates! That’s 50 bucks of free Italian food! So don’t forget to stop by the Senna Mosely/Green La Vergne Booth and put your name on our contact list, don’t worry, we won’t share your info. with anyone else, and we’ll only contact you for clean up efforts in the La Vergne area. That’s something we could all pitch in on, right? Remember to stop by our web site at

or our yahoo group at

  1. Ole Timers Day Is September 20th!!!!! Hope to see everyone there!!!

  2. If any of you are looking for something to do before the parade and other activities, the Cedar Grove subdivision (directly across from LHS) will be having a neighborhood-wide garage sale from 7AM – Noon.

Last year we had about 50 homes participate, so a lot of good stuff will be in a small area, no need to drive ($$$) to yard sales all over the county.

  3. Aye, me loves a bargain! Happy Talk Like a Pirate Day, mateys!
