Some Summertime Fun

You know I’m usually pretty good about posting here.  But when I have to run to keep up with life, my best intentions for this site sometimes falter.  I am grateful, therefore, that others have been posting (thanks Fortune Cookies!) and for the info that was sent to me today by the city publicity director.  I’ll share it here!

A fundraiser yard sale is being held on May 16th in the lot next to Merchandise Liquidators.  Proceeds go to the LaVergne Police Athletic League (PAL).  PAL will be hosting a RAD Kids self empowerment class on June 4-6 for kids aged seven to 13.  For more info, go here.

In addition, PAL will hold summer camp July 27 – 31. The camp will take place at the Multi-Purpose Building, behind City Hall, by the ball fields. For more information, call PAL Executive Director Gerry Howse at 287-8730.
