Red Cross Benefit on Saturday

My friend Mark has a big heart when it comes to charity fundraising.  A night manager at the Smyrna Bowling Center, he often works with the business to organize events that will benefit others.  This time, Mark is up to his elbows in a fundraiser that will benefit victims of the Murfreesboro tornado that  hit on Good Friday.  He’s planned some GREAT activities that are family friendly … all for a great cause!

This Saturday from Noon to 4:00 p.m.,  half the proceeds from bowling will go to the Heart of Tennessee chapter of the Red Cross.  Children can bowl for $3.00 p/game and adults for $4.00 p/game (shoe rental extra).  In addition, the parking lot will have lots of fun things planned, including inflatable jumpie thingie for the kids, karaoke, a dunking both, hot dogs, and a climbing wall.  Smyrna is sending a firetruck, a hummer will be there from the National Guard, martial arts demonstrations, a tattoo artist doing airbrush tattoos (not permanent), and MUCH MORE.  Visit the Smyrna Bowling Center site for more information.

Please show your support for this worthy cause and have a good time doing it!  Donations accepted!

Speaking of good causes, visit Brandon Brewer’s Caring Bridge page. The family is really struggling right now and any help here would also be appreciated.
