Rest in Peace, Mr. Covert

I didn’t know Tim Covert, but have heard many very kind words said about him.  This LaVergne resident passed away early last week in a car accident – tragic both because of how unexpectedly life can end and because he left behind a family who must be suffering terribly at this time.

According to my friend, “Tim was the man you would always see at the LHS Football games, Band & Choir functions taking all the pictures for the last 6 years. He also was the one who designed, and maintained the Website for both the Band & Choir. His son (Tyler) still attends LHS and his daughter is at UT Knoxville. Tim was also Very involved in the Boy Scouts and at Miracle Baptist.”

We anticipate there will be some fundraisers held on behalf of Mr. Covert’s family.  When I hear about them, they will be posted here.  Meanwhile any donations to his memory may be made to the following according to the DNJ obituary.
