Stay Off the Roads

From the city:

Please keep Non-Essential travel to a minimum.  Emergency Center Setup at City Hall 5093 Murfreesboro Road.

Due to weather and high water on roadways we would like to ask that citizens please remain at home keeping non essential travel to a minimum.

Crews are out assisting residents as quickly as possible.  At this time, we are concentrating on residents with flooding issues at their residence in addition to other life safety calls.

Please keep an eye out for high water in your area!

Due to the weather the City and Box100 have opened emergency centers at the following locations:

City Hall  — 5093 Murfreesboro Road

  1. It’s great to see that they are finally getting around to check on us. We are on Brookridge off of StoneRidge and we were flooded and trapped in our homes here all day yesterday. something has to be done about all the water coming down StoneRidge and flooding my yard. My house is the only one on the block that gets all the water from that hill. I have lot’s of pics of this problem area and it’s not just because of this flood. This is an all the time problem when it rains. Because of this I have lost my back yard and the two truck loads of dirt that was brought in to fill in around my pool. It’s all gone. My driveway is washed out from all this and the sewer drain is completely exposed due to the flooding. This is a major flooding zone here and more needs to be done to see that this doesn’t keep happening to my yard everytime it rains.

    • Wow, I know exactly where that is, but hadn’t heard about anybody having damage on our side of the interstate (we’re in Woodland Hills, just down the street from you).

What a mess, but I assume you and your family are all okay? Do you have power over there?
