NNO Was Pretty Awesome

I went to National Night Out (Against Crime) last night sponsored by the city.  It was my first year there and I have to say… it was pretty awesome.  I met the fictitious Jason Cole and learned he’s real.  (hahaha…).  The city workers were out swinging a home run for the event with water, sodas, burgers, hotdogs, cotton candy, and lots of great public service attitudes.  Kudos to them!

I didn’t go far from the baton twirling booth we had and I forgot my camera so the photos are from my phone. There’s one or two pretty entertaining ones here of two aldermen.

What a beautiful sunset we had!

  1. Sorry I wasnt able to join in the fun. I planned on going but my body said no.

Im curious – was Mike Slinker there?

  2. I didn’t see him, but saw a lot of other people… including Dennis Waldron who tried on my daughter’s crown and Senna Mosley who tried to twirl a baton. Saw the Mayor and Alderman Green.
