My husband and I have two daughters, two dogs, and two cats. His mother also lives here with us. We proudly call LaVergne home after moving here from Lexington, Kentucky in June of 2003. Right after the move, I studied and tested for my real estate license
and am now a full-time Realtor.
I accepted the position of Public Relations Director for the City of LaVergne and begin that new life on January 31st 2011. It should be an interesting time!
I served as PTO president of Roy Waldron Elementary School several years ago (2004), volunteer with Christmas for the Children, Up with People, and am a Girl Scout leader.
When I graduated from Murray State University with B.S. in Journalism & Radio/TV, I could never have predicted the whole wide world being available within a couple of keystrokes. Given my adoration of all things computer, it’s no surprise that I have designed and developed web pages, maintain several online sites, write for shakadoo.com, and am a “ghost-writer” for banks.com (that is I write and someone else gets the credit!).
You can go read more about me in this article published by the Rutherford Reader (see page 6).
